Meet Matt McCracken, one of CMIT’s newest franchisees, who recently opened CMIT Solutions of Houston-Willowbrook.
What is your professional background?
Matt McCracken: I am a former CIO with more than 25 years of experience in business process management/integration across a broad spectrum of industries, including software development companies for accounting, dental practice management, and hospitals. I ran an IT professional services group and have led nationwide ERP implementations and technology infrastructure migrations, along with projects in the restaurant equipment industry.
How does your previous experience factor into your role at CMIT Solutions?
Matt McCracken: After more than two decades in IT, much of that time spent working closely with C-level business professionals to integrate technology with business strategy for clients, I’m well equipped to help small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) remove the headache of technology from their workdays so they can focus on core business.
How important is your CMIT Solutions office to the community around you?
Matt McCracken: Not only do I get to know the SMBs in my community personally by working with them to improve their IT strategy, but we’re able to help the local economy grow as well.
How do you spend your free time?
Matt McCracken: I like to spend time with my family, and I am very involved with my daughter’s school and sports teams. I also volunteer at my church.
