Jeff Connally is the President and CEO of CMIT Solutions, Inc. He is responsible for guiding the company’s strategy and has been involved in this dynamic company since he joined the Board of Directors in August of 2005. Jeff co-founded UpLink (GPS/Golf business) in 1998, serving as the COO until May 2003. Jeff founded Gener8Biz (Sales/Marketing Consultancy) in 2003 and also served as President and CEO. Jeff is a sales and marketing professor at the Acton School, an Entrepreneurial MBA program located in Austin, Texas. His early career was with IBM Corporation, where he began as a systems analyst/programmer. He later served in a number of sales, marketing, and executive roles.
Jeff received his undergraduate degree from Saint Michael’s College and his MBA from the University of Texas. Jeff has a passion for the outdoors and enjoys hiking the Appalachian Trail.
GEORGE BOBBITT SR.
George Bobbitt joined CMIT Solutions as Chief Operating Officer in October 2015 and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. Prior to joining CMIT Solutions, Mr. Bobbitt spent nine years in the defense and national intelligence industry, holding several corporate development and operations positions with Camber Corporation. Before that, he spent 12 years in the telecommunications industry working in several product management and business development positions with Westell, Inc. and Adtran, Inc. George managed Westell’s Transport Systems Group before divesting it to Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe Limited. While with Adtran, George managed the company’s Total Access System and Outside Plant Digital Subscriber Line ATM Multiplexer (OSP DSLAM) product lines. In the three years George was with Adtran, he more than tripled the annual revenue of his business area. George also served five years in the US Army as a Cavalry Officer and had the privilege of leading a reconnaissance unit during the first Gulf War, where he earned a Bronze Star Medal.
Mr. Bobbitt earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a major in Computer Science from West Point in 1989 and his Master’s of Business Administration in Economics and Marketing from the University of Chicago in 1997.
Robert Archambeault serves as Director of Franchise Support for CMIT Solutions. Robert brings a background in franchising to CMIT that includes experience on both sides of the franchise model. As an owner of two start-ups, Robert learned the challenges that franchise owners face on a day-to-day basis. Combined with his time in Franchise Executive positions at The Center for Leadership Studies, Bobby Cox, Inc., and First Service Brand, Robert’s experience makes him the perfect fit for CMIT Solutions.
Robert has spent countless hours working directly with franchise owners to help them improve the overall operations of their businesses. He is a passionate advocate of planning and budgeting, offering a great deal of experience in system processes. Robert has worked with client systems at Starbucks, FedEx Kinko’s, H&R Block, NIVDIA, Home Depot, Quiznos, Office Max, and California Parks & Recreation. With a strong sales and training background as well, Robert brings a level of excitement to the CMIT team and dedication to help all of the CMIT franchisees grow their top and bottom lines.
Robert is a retired Iraqi War veteran who spent his early military career as a member of the US Army. Subsequent years found Robert in leadership roles that provided a rich source of experience in several countries. He served with honor and distinction as a strategic adviser to the US Army Police School and Training and Doctrine Command. He holds a Bachelor’s in Science from Cameron University and a Master’s in Leadership from the Huizenga School of Business through Nova Southeastern University.
Cindy Phillips serves as Director of Marketing for CMIT Solutions. She is responsible for the 4P’s of marketing: product, price, promotion, and place. She leads the product management, product marketing, and demand generation teams.
In the past, Cindy has worked at the world’s first Kevlar plant in Richmond, Virginia; written flight software for satellites that are still in space; and managed a database management tool suite with over $45M in annual revenues and 10,000 customers. She enjoys solving problems and delights in helping others achieve their goals. She consults with small business owners and owns a consulting business.
Cindy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri at Columbia, an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing from Maryville University, and is a graduate of the Institute for Managerial Leadership at the University of Texas at Austin and Leadership Austin.
Stuart Hentschel serves as the Controller and Director of Finance & Business Services for CMIT Solutions. He is responsible for all home office finances and provides strategic and operational leadership to the team. Stuart has owned and operated small businesses in Austin, Texas since 1989. After graduating from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Finance, he and his brother opened and operated Waterloo Ice House, a successful restaurant chain in Austin, which has continued to expand.
After gravitating towards the financial and accounting systems of the restaurant business, Stuart ventured to start his own accounting company in early 2003. For close to 10 years, he has worked as a consultant and managed the bookkeeping of several small to medium-sized businesses in Austin. His strong experience in Finance and Accounting and his entrepreneurial background make him a great fit for CMIT Solutions.
Lisa and her team work with all of those interested in pursuing business ownership with CMIT Solutions. She guides people through our franchise discovery process, assuring that CMIT and prospective franchisees learn about the business and goals of each so that they can make an informed decision about entering a business relationship. Prior to joining the CMIT team in 2008, Lisa worked with another franchise organization in the Austin area.
Lisa and her husband James have five children between the two of them: all grown and now moving on with their lives, the youngest is a senior in college. She also participates in competitive ballroom country dance competitions. Lisa and James are also very active in their church community at Life Austin.
Joseph joined CMIT in 2015 where he currently holds the Role of Franchise Development Manager. Prior to joining CMIT, Joseph worked as a Restaurant Supervisor for a large resort in Northern Michigan. With a degree in Business Management, Joseph looks to guide you through the discovery of CMIT solutions to help you determine whether or not CMIT will help you achieve your goals and to help you make an informed business decision.
In his free time, Joseph likes spending time with his Son, hiking outdoors, and volunteering locally at his church, Gateway Austin.
As the Franchise Development Coordinator, Liberty is passionately committed to providing effective and efficient support for the Franchise Development Managers throughout all phases of the discovery process. She plays a crucial role in managing the franchise territory selection process, preparing Franchise Agreements for new Franchise Partners and ensuring that Franchise Brokers receive the highest level of service.
Liberty recently moved from The Woodlands, Texas to Austin to join CMIT Solutions in April, 2017. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Houston with a BS in Economics and possesses over ten years of experience in a similar capacity as an Account Manager for mortgage lenders. This strong background, together with her energetic, outcome-driven personality, make her uniquely qualified for this position.
Still new to the Austin area, Liberty enjoys spending time exploring local attractions, listening to live music and discovering all the things that make this city such a unique and fun place to live!
Sneha joined the CMIT family in June of 2017 where she works as the Franchise Development Associate. She graduated from St. Edwards University with a degree in Kinesiology with an Emphasis in Physical Therapy. She previously worked at AT&T as the Team Lead for Wifi Technical Support; helping lead two divisions one in Austin and one in North Carolina before starting at CMIT Solutions. Her role here at CMIT is to help qualified candidates determine whether CMIT is the right fit for their business interests.
In her free time, Sneha likes spending time outdoors kayaking and volunteering with her alumni community here in Austin.
