A: CMIT Solutions is a consulting and service business, and as such, we are looking for people with outgoing personalities that would do an excellent job of representing the brand and their business to other local businesses.

On a financial level, a potential CMIT Solutions franchisee must have a net worth of at least $300,000 and be (or be able to become) liquid for a minimum of $150,000. If a prospective franchisee meets these qualifications along with having a good credit score and history, CMIT Solutions can offer assistance for our franchisees to secure a number of different types of financing.

A: CMIT Solutions grants franchises to individuals that are planning on being involved initially as a full-time owner operator. Long term, full-time ownership and operation of the franchise is not required; however, initially it is critical because CMIT Solutions is a local business and it is up to the individual franchise owner to become actively involved in the community to promote the services and products offered.

A: The total investment range is $100,000 to $125,000 including working capital.

The franchise fee, which covers all of the initial assistance for opening along with the training, education, franchise support and rights to use the brand over the 10-year term of the franchise agreement is $44,950. In addition your start-up capital should range from $55,000 to $80,000.

A: CMIT Solutions royalty, which covers the on-going service and support of our Franchisees, is 6% of the gross professional services sales of the business. As a result of the royalty, the Franchisee receives access to the CMIT Gold standard partner programs, which offer significant discounts, commissions benefits and advantages and CMIT Solutions world class service and support.

The national advertising fund contribution is 2%, which helps support a number of national advertising campaigns on an annual basis as well as better SEO, cooperative activities, and other system-wide advertising and marketing initiatives.

A: The financial return you will realize as an owner of any small business will depend on many factors including, but not limited to, how well you perform and follow the franchise system, local economics and costs, competition, and how aggressively you market yourself and your business. Starting a new business always carries some level of risk, so we encourage you to speak with our franchisees to learn about their experience and satisfaction with the business, including the financial performance of their own franchise. By speaking with franchisees you will be able to understand the potential of the business and what is necessary to be successful.

A: CMIT Solutions is with you every step of the way, starting with determining the right territory size for you and finishing with the opening of your business. We have a full-service approach and it starts with our team working with you to identify the potential customer base in your market. Determining a franchise territory also includes a demographic review looking at the small business population and makeup of the trade area around the proposed location. Ultimately, the territory size is selected by the franchisee with CMIT Solutions assistance.

A: You can start your CMIT Solutions franchise right from your home office. This is a great way to get into business as it allows for virtually no overhead and also allows for potential tax benefits. As you grow, you may choose to move your business into an office location.

A: Yes. CMIT Solutions offers complete support associated with various methods of financing, including third party lenders and "SBA" programs. We can also connect you with various leasing options. CMIT Solutions is also listed on the SBA’s Franchise Registry to make the process of SBA financing a smoother transaction.

A: Yes. Initially an owner operator of a franchise will typically have one (1) to two (2) part-time or full-time staff members to help with the serving of your customers. As the business grows, and you build a customer base, more employees and staff will be needed.

A: CMIT Solutions franchise owners enjoy getting to schedule their own appointments. And because our customers are small to medium sized businesses, the typical appointment times are set during normal business hours.

A: Yes. CMIT Solutions has long-term relationships and agreements with industry leaders such as Microsoft and Dell. These relationships provide various benefits, including the payment of commissions to the CMIT owners. Thus providing additional revenue to our franchisees.

A: CMIT Solutions marketing support programs include-

Local programs, which the franchisees utilize to build and develop awareness and loyalty with their current customer base.
Regional and cooperative advertising, where CMIT franchisees get together to organize and leverage their strength in numbers.
National programs that are conducted by the CMIT Advertising Fund.

A: Once a franchise agreement is signed, the typical time needed to get a franchise open is approximately 90 to 180 days. This depends mostly on the territory size. To get started, complete the CMIT Franchise Application today.

A: In order to receive a copy of CMIT Solutions Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), please complete the CMIT Request for Consideration. Once we have received your completed application, we will forward you our Franchise Information Kit, which includes CMIT Solutions FDD and much more information about the franchise award process.

A: We have many wonderful opportunities. In addition to a single unit franchise, CMIT also offers multi-unit franchises and Area Developer opportunities. We offer a Veteran’s discount to qualified candidates.

A: Territories consist of at least 2,000 businesses within adjacent zip codes. The businesses have a range of 5-99 employees in a wide variety of businesses.

A: Step 1: Personal Profile
To be considered for a CMIT Solutions computer services franchise, you must complete our Request for Consideration and return it to our Home Office for review and approval. As we begin to share confidential information with you, we want to understand your background, goals, and financial capabilities better. All information you provide will be treated confidentially by CMIT.

Step 2: Discovery
Once your application has been preliminarily approved by CMIT Solutions, you will receive information that is critical to due diligence, including a copy of our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)

Step 3: Validation
You will speak with franchisees and the CMIT Solutions senior management team while CMIT concurrently evaluates your application, skill set, and experience. If we both are excited and confident about CMIT being a good fit, we will invite you to attend Discovery Day at our corporate offices in Austin, Texas.

Step 4: Discovery Day
On Discovery Day, you’ll meet the CMIT Home Office team and learn more about opening a new CMIT Solutions location. At the end of the visit, we will decide whether or not to move forward by entering into the Franchise Agreement. Then we can start counting down to your Grand Opening!
